| BESPOKE
IMPLANTS
Teeth can be lost through trauma, caries or periodontal
disease known as pyorrhoea.

When
the patient has sufficient bone we can insert
one or several implants (artificial screw-in roots),
without needing to make incisions, detach the
gum or insert stitches to close it. After applying
the usual dental local anaesthetic, one or several
orifices are made in the bone and are widened
until one or several implants can be inserted
which will remain closed in the bone until such
time as teeth are inserted upon them.
The
procedure is not even uncomfortable and the patients
can return immediately to their usual daily activity
without any inflammation.
The
advantages are that it is a painless treatment,
does not cause inflammation, is shorter and the
patient can have teeth far sooner.
CASE
INVOLVING THE INSERTION OF THREE BESPOKE IMPLANTS
The
case exhibited to follow with a series of images
relates to the insertion of three implants without
surgery (in other words without needing to open
up the gums and in consequence being less traumatic
for the patient).

The
black circle on the radiography indicates the
location where the three implants will be inserted
without surgery.

The
area is anaesthetised as in any dental treatment.

The
orifices in which to insert the implants are created
with a special drill.
Lastly,
the implants with which to support the prostheses
are inserted. As can be observed, it is totally
atraumatic and “clean” as no incision
or opening up of the gums was required.

The
implants are now ready to “receive”
the prostheses and as in the previous case (one
sole implant) the patient can resume his or her
normal daily activities immediately, without any
inflammation.
